Who is the illumiFacial® for?
The illumiFacial® doesn’t discriminate, suitable to combat most skin conditions, but best for clients seeking advanced ageing skin solutions, concerned about uneven skin tone, sun damage, redness, pigmentation, and enlarged pores. Those looking to elevate their skin health, while slowing down the signs of ageing.
What is IPL?
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) uses broad spectrum light to combat dry, damaged and ageing skin, by stimulating collagen and elastin production for overall skin rejuvenation. Lynton’s medical-grade IPL is manufactured in the UK and not to be confused with standard IPL in the industry. It’s quality you can count on, as shown by the fact that it supplies the UK’s NHS (National Health Service). Lynton’s IPL has sub-millisecond pulsing and longest pulse sequencing in the world, with industry-leading light guides and fixed filters.
How long does it take? How many treatments do I need?
The illumiFacial® takes approximately 45 minutes and your clients will see the best results with 3-6 treatments depending on skin concern and indications.
How does the illumiFacial feel? Is it painful?
The illumiFacial® is not painful. The IPL creates a relaxing, skin-warming experience overall, while the tri-acid fruit peel will tingle slightly. When targeting vessels or pigment in particular, expect a mild zapping sensation, however, as one of the most skin-transforming facials available in market today, it leaves skin feeling fresh, luxurious and hydrated.
Visible Results
In addition to skin brightening and firming, the illumiFacial® is also clinically proven to treat the following skin concerns; pigmentation, vascular lesions, Port Wine Stains, Spider Naevi, Campbell De Morgan spots, Telangiectasia, Poikiloderma of Civatte and more, improving overall clarity, redness and uneven tone for healthier skin immediately and long term.
What should I expect post illumiFacial®?
Expect plump, glowing skin, with no downtime or side effects. However, if you have targeted vessels or pigment, you may experience slight redness and swelling in those specific areas, before it subsides within 24 hours. Thanks to the powerful IPL, you may also see a darkening of pigment in the days following a treatment, before it flakes away, leaving you with flawless, illuminated skin.
